Financial Assistance Available
Family Connections, the Child Care Resource and Referral agency for Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties, was able to raise funds to provide much-needed financial assistance grants to soon-to-be licensed, new, and existing Registered or Certified Family Child Care programs in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties.
Already, Family Connections was able to award over $100,000 in start-up and operating cost grants to seventeen licensed home-based child care providers in Linn, Benton, and Lincoln Counties, with fourteen Registered Family and three Certified Family programs receiving awards. Previous awards issued were graciously funded by the Ford Family Foundation, the John and Ginger Niemeyer Foundation, the Benton Community Foundation, and the City of Albany.
